Tattoos have always been a kind of taboo subject for some because they just don't understand the whole tattoo thing. With that being said it is a little more society friendly for a man to have a tattoo. Maybe it has to do with the fact that back in the 50's and 60's men were basically the only ones who had tattoos. That doesn't mean some women did, but if they did they kept it quite. However, tattoos were still not expect unless you were in the service or a sailor even then they were still looked down upon because back in those says criminals, greasers and men who were up to know good had tattoos. Things have changed greatly over time but tattoos are still looked down upon. Maybe some with change their mind when they realize these celebrity dads have several tattoos of their own.

It's the same case with other celebrities and tattoo parlors will attest to an influx of new tattoos that are attributed to such stars as Angelina Jolie. It would be wrong to condemn tattoos. But it is equally wrong to look the other way when kids get tattoos because their favorite stars have them on the skin.

The trouble child star can't really seem to catch a break now a days and several people are just waiting for her to have another melt down. Well since Lindsay and her girlfriend of nearly two years broke up Lindsay thought it would be appropriate to make the occasion with some fresh ink. It is being reported that Lindsay along with her younger sister, Ali Lohan walked into Shamrock Social Club tattoo parlor in Los Angeles at around midnight on April 8, 2009. Lindsay and Ali emerged a little later and word on the street is that Lindsay got some fresh ink on her wrist. However, the design that she got has not been released yet. This is the same tattoo parlor Lindsay and her new BFF Lily Allen go their matching Shhh... tattoos.
If you recall Lindsay Lohan also has a tattoo a matching tattoo with old girlfriend Samantha Ronson. Linsday has a small little red star on her hand. It's nothing to noticeable or wild and crazy but Lindsay has been open about the reason she got this tattoo. Which is for all the wrong reasons. If you are an avid fan of Megan Fox you are well aware that she sports several tattoos on her gorgeous body. Megan claims to have a total of nine tattoos on her body. Some of those tattoos include a a pink flamingo on her upper thigh, a poem that Megan wrote herself on her rib cage that reads, "there once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her HEART" as well as a Shakespeare quote on her back, "We will all laugh at gilded butterflies." just to name a few. But if you look at the cover of the latest Empire magazine that Megan is on the cover of you will notice a new little tattoo on her shoulder.
If you look close enough you will see that this new little tattoo is in fact an Autobot symbol, most likely to symbolize her work in both Transformer movies. With Megan's out there personality and wild ways one would just simply think she got this tattoo to give props to the movie that made her a household name. However, if you are a true Megan Fox fan you should know that this photo of Megan was taken a few years back and that new tattoo on her shoulder, isn't really a tattoo at all. The Autobot symbol was photoshopped on Megan's shoulder by Empire Magazine to help promote the new Transformers movie. So to make things clear, Megan did not get a new tattoo of the Autobot symbol. As far as anyone knows Megan hasn't gotten a new tattoo in some time, unless it is somewhere that can't be seen.

I know that I have already done a Megan Fox post on the Wednesday edition of Celebrity Tattoos. But none the less I had to write another post about her because she is bashing critics who claim that her tattoos are trashy. Megan has also stated that she will cover her whole body in tattoos just to spite these critics.

I will admit that I do agree with Megan this isn't 1950 anymore and regular people including hot Hollywood actress have tattoos and most of the time have more than one. But I will say that her choices in some of her tattoos are a little interesting. That Marilyn Monroe tattoo she has on her arm sticks out like a sore thumb. But her other eight tattoos, in my opinion are not trashy at all. I really believe that it is okay to have a lot of tattoos on your body, as long as you carry yourself well and have confidence in yourself. I think that makes your tattoos become kind of sexy and not trashy at all. There are plenty other celebrities out there that have 5 or 6 tattoos and they are as pretty and sexy as they can be. And not to mention most people don't even know that they have that many tattoos.
